Mrs. Buck
Hello! My name is Mrs. Buck and I’m very excited to be your first grade teacher this year! I’ve been a teacher at St. Francis for over 25 years, and I have many exciting activities planned for your first grade year.
I grew up in a small town in southern West Virginia, called Spencer. I have two wonderful parents named Bob and Carol. I am one of four children. I have two sisters named Allison and Amy, and a brother, Brett. We love spending time together and playing games both inside and outside!
My husband Tom and I have been married for 31 years! We have three daughters, Mackenzie, Delaney, and Audrey. Mackenzie is attending Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri, pursuing her doctorate in Chiropractic studies. Delaney is a Senior at West Virginia University, studying exercise physiology and move into occupational therapy, and Audrey is an eighth grader at St. Francis!
I’ve taught many different grades while I’ve been at St. Francis, kindergarten, third, fourth, sixth grade English, librarian, reading specialist, and now first grade.
So, hold on to your hats and get ready for a fun and exciting year of learning! It’s going to be an AWESOME year!
